Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience is a 360° digital art experience. The audience is invited for an awe-inspiring journey into the world of Van Gogh, one of the world’s greatest artists. The exhibition combines very well digital art, didactic information and virtual reality to propose a real immersive experience.
The immersive experience: It is a fully immersive room with a 360° digital show. 60 projectors bring 200 Van Gogh’s masterpieces to life on a 1000 m2 surface. The projections animate the floor and all the walls around the visitors, creating a great immersive experience. The sound and light show lasts 35 minutes and runs on a loop with no beginning or end.
Extra rooms: There is a dedicated space for digital art study of the flowers painted by Van Gogh. We invite the visitor as well to watch a 5-minute documentary that provides insight into Van Gogh’s painting techniques. Another room consists in the reconstruction of Van Gogh’s masterpiece “The Bedroom”. The visitors can read many informative panels about the artist’s life and work along the way. Last but not least, the Colour & Post space awakens visitors’ creativity and allows them to produce and display their own masterpieces.
The Virtual Reality tour: At the end of the exhibition, the VR experience slips the visitors even deeper into the mind of Van Gogh by experiencing a day in his life. An 11-minute unforgettable experience with a VR headset.

A touring exhibition: Since 2017, Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience has thrilled 650 000 visitors around the world. This includes Italy (Napoli and Lesse), Belgium (Brussels), China (Beijing and Hanghzou), Israel and England (York and Leicester).
